"Astoria Bridge with Long Trolley"

This is a strange motion efffect caused by the motion of the scanner array in comparison to the movement of the trolly. The scanner was moving in from the left. The trolly came into the picture from also from the left but was going faster than the scanner and so was recorded as backwards. Then the trolley braked to a stop while she scanner was crossing and left an extended section as the front of the trolley was going about the same speed as the scanner. Then with the trolley at a stop, it was scanned again normally, all this in one exposure. I did plan to have the trolley cross the sensor but I did not know it would stop during the exposure so this image is part deliberate and part happy accident.
