"Yosemite Falls, Dry"

2007 was a very dry year and there was almost no water going over the falls, just the equivilant of a few garden hoses going at once, and most of that evaporated into the thin dry mountain air before it ever got to the ground. The infrared effect makes the trees look like they are covered with snow but you know there isn't any because it is the end of July. It's more of that "pine tree Puff-Ball look". Looks even more striking against a Black Sky!
