"Bushes and Merced River"

The water usually turns black when shooting through the Hoya R-72 filter, well maybe it's not because the water is turning black but it might more related to what is reflected in the water. The sky turns very dark with the IR process. and that is what is reflected. I love the delicate nature of the foliage and the subtle details captured by the Betterlight system, I always know that there will be detail all the way up into the brightest highlights (or the darkest shadows).
